Fire & Water Interact - Strong Heart opening Summer Yoga Retreat 2025 With, Qigong, Vinyasa, Yin & Somatic Yoga and Wild Swimming.
Welcome to a very special summer Yoga Retreat in 2025 especially for those who love immersing themselvesin expansive powerful practice & equally expansive natural waterways.This week the morning practice will be a 2 hour transformational mix of vinyasa style yoga & heart opening qigong including several crane forms. After breakfast every other day we will take a gourmet picnic to one of the breathtaking river beaches within a short drive of the retreat centre. On returning in the early evening we will indulge you in a slow restorative somatic yoga session before dinner. We welcome all levels of practice experience on all of our retreats.
On Sunday, Tuesday & Thursday we will stay home where you can rest by the salt water pool with spectacular views during the day then take a yin yoga session focusing on kidney & heart meridians to keep bringing the water & keep the heart calm & cool. These sessions will be followed by planetary gong baths.
Monday will see us at Cambas a glorious river beach with a stretch for swimming as long as several olympic size pools. Wednesday we will visit Alvaro a stunning tributary of the River Zezere where there is an in lake natural swimming pool, incredible views & a lovely cafe. On Friday we will venture a little further to the breath taking Santa Luzia reservoir where there isagain an in lake pool, cafe & the opportunity to rent paddle boards or kayaks (a one hour sessionis included in the price of the retreat) to explore the vast lake. All the waters are absolutely pristine having consistently won awards for their quality over recent years.
